1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between BODOOKHRANG TECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us") and the school that subscribes to SchoolERP ("the School"). They also bind everyone the School gives an account to — its staff, its parents and its students — because those accounts exist inside the School's tenancy and are governed by it.
Using SchoolERP means accepting these terms. A member of staff who signs in on the School's behalf is confirming they are authorised to do so.
2. What SchoolERP is
SchoolERP is a hosted school management system. The School's records live in a tenancy that is separate from every other school on the platform, and the platform is built so that no signed-in user of one school can read or write another school's data.
The subscription includes the modules of the plan the School chooses, unlimited staff, parent and student accounts, a web address, the School's own branded Android app, setup and training, and every update released during the term. The School's own branded iOS app is available on any plan at an additional per-student rate. Nothing in the product is billed per teacher or per parent.
3. Accounts and who is responsible for them
The School creates and removes its own user accounts and decides what each role may see. We do not vet the School's users; the School is responsible for who it lets in and for removing access when someone leaves.
Credentials are personal. Sharing a sign-in between people defeats the audit trail, which records who did what, and the School accepts the record as accurate for any account it has issued.
4. Platform administrator access
Our platform administrators can enter a School's tenancy to provide support, investigate a fault or carry out a task the School has asked for. Every such entry is recorded in the School's own audit trail, naming the administrator, the school entered and the time — and every action taken while inside is recorded against that administrator, not against the member of staff whose view they were using.
We do not use this access to read a School's records for any purpose other than supporting that School.
5. What we ask of the School
- Give us accurate information when setting up, and keep the billing contact current.
- Use the platform for running the School, and within the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Do not attempt to reach another school's data, probe the platform's boundaries, or circumvent a permission.
- Do not resell, sublicense or white-label SchoolERP without a separate written agreement.
- Hold the consents the School needs to put its students', parents' and staff's information into a system it operates.
6. Availability and change
We aim for the availability set out in the Service Level Agreement. We may change, add to or retire parts of the platform; where a change materially reduces something the School relies on, we will give notice before it takes effect.
Planned maintenance is scheduled outside Indian school hours wherever possible and announced in advance.
7. Ending the agreement
The School may end its subscription at the end of its free trial with no notice period, no exit fee and nothing further to pay (the registration fee is not refunded). After that, the minimum term applies as set out in the Subscription Agreement.
We may suspend or end an account for non-payment after notice, for a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, or where continuing would be unlawful. Suspension for non-payment does not delete data; the Data Retention & Deletion Policy governs what happens after that.
On termination for any reason, the School may export its data as described in the Data Portability & Exit Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kokrajhar, Assam have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
