Cookie Policy

1. The short version

SchoolERP sets only the cookies it needs to work. There is no advertising cookie, no third-party tracker and no cross-site profiling anywhere in the product or on the marketing site.

2. What is set

• Session cookies — keep you signed in. Strictly necessary; signing out clears them.
• A tenancy cookie — records which school's console you are in, on a shared address. Strictly necessary.
• A platform-administrator viewing cookie — set only when a platform administrator is viewing a school, expires after four hours, and exists so the audit trail can record what is happening. Never set for an ordinary user.
• Preference cookies — remember the theme you chose and whether the sidebar is collapsed. Not necessary; clearing them only resets the appearance.

3. Managing them

Browser settings can block or clear any of these. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent signing in, because there is then no way to carry a session between pages.

4. Local storage

The platform keeps a few interface preferences in the browser's own storage rather than in a cookie. Nothing there identifies a person and none of it is sent to us.
